My three bff's are coming tomorrow for brunch for our annual Christmas get together. I am making egg-sausage-tomato bakes and cranberry-pecan bread. The bread will go in the bread machine. I want to start it so it will be done just as they are arriving and hopefully will fill my parlor with the smell of fresh bread (this is not a quick bread). Another friend is bringing fruit, another snacks and the last is bringing beverages. I have prosecco for mimosa's. I took this picture because someone asked about my "studio" where here you see it. LOL a trunk ...... Fancy is nice but I was a Girl Scout and learned to make do with what you have. Now off to bed so I can get up early to finish the last minute things.
@vignouse Turkey Sausage and one egg and one egg white per serving for the egg bakes. And a regular bread less fattening then a quick bread. And we have fruit so not all bad for the waistline.
Do you have a studio Joan? LOL. I make do with what I have too. Great food, friends and memories to be made, as well as old ones remembered and shared.
