Just a bit of afternoon play! by joansmor

Just a bit of afternoon play!

Not a great day. Started out feeling "icky" and having back pain. Then Two got into something she shouldn't and when I went to put it away I wasn't paying attention and lost my footing. Went down hard. Nice to live alone so you can scream and swear and no one hears. Nothing broke but a sore knee so no walking today and no photo shoot. So I looked through the pictures I had and picked this. Thought I would play in Color Efex and when I tripped on the filter that did this I thought what the heck. Came up with a six word story and my work is done. Now we have a little snow frozen solid but missing the big one. To all who aren't I sincerely feel for you. But I ain't coming to help dig you out.
Cool processing! FAV. Take care of yourself!

Hope your knee improves! I did mine last week taking photos but haven't had time to rest it - but I know it needs it! Today is my first quiet day :)

@gilbertwood I fell flat out the knees hit first but didn't take a lot of weight so already feeling a little better. Thanks. Don't let your knew become like my back.

Stay off that knee and dig up some more old photos.

Really neat processing - gave it a great effect. Give that knee some time j- between the knee and the back, stay put for a bit! We love oldies.

Hi Joan
We're together for get-pushed this week.
I've just been reading a bit about landscape photography to come up with a challenge for you. I wondered about a choice of two either:
1. Take a landscape photo with no visible horizon. This kind of thing https://www.flickr.com/photos/9534279@N05/6370887075
Or take a landscape photo with strong leading lines which are natural rather than manmade - so not a road or path.
Does one of those sound ok? Hope so.
Rachel
