This shot is the same surfer as he gets into position. This was processed in silver efex.
I don't know if I will ever get a chance like this again and so I had to post another one. I have a lot. Someone mentioned that I timed things great. Well a trick I learned this summer trying to capture surf breaking on cliff, was to set to continuous shot. Then when things start to happen (or a little before) I start shooting holding down the button. I get a lot of shots but usually a few are that perfect shot. When I tried to single shot I was late or early and when I tried to shot again it had to auto focus and it was too late. I pass this hint on to others who try to capture waves and birds in flight etc. I am sure you can take the auto focus off, etc. But I just keep forgetting how and this seems to work well for me.
I will probably post a few more when I need a shot and haven't had a chance to capture anything. It was a fabulous morning.
