Seems every time I see them their feathers are brighter. I was having trouble sneaking up on them with the camera. I kept coming around the right side of the island and just as I moved into a spot where I could capture a shot they flew off. So then I tried coming down the left side where there is less room and I don't know if that fooled them of what but took several shots. I cropped this in lr and did a little processing then took into Analog Efex. I have just discovered this nik collection set of filters and am loving how it works on some pictures.
Great shot! At first I thought it was a Goldfinch but then realized there was a cap on his head. Love the detail and everything else about the shot- fav.
