a drop and a wave by joansmor

a drop and a wave

My get pushed was to do either a water drop or crown. I have a confession - if I never see another water crown it will be too soon. I understand why lots of people want to try them and you can go for it. So I chose drop and wanted to do it differently. You see I have a drop flying up in the upper right corner and a wave flowing over the edge of the bowl on the lower left. Okay end of playing as I had no desire to keep cleaning up water. I copied the original and turned it into a blended layer to perk the picture up some. My apologies to @wenbow if this is what you had in mind.
@wenbow this is my get-pushed I hope I haven't disappointed you.

Looks good to me...and way, way beyond my imagination, let alone ability. I like it...and I hope you enjoyed a perfect poached egg.

Pretty clever idea - can almost feel that splash as the lemon hit the water - messy though :)

Capturing water crowns is such a lenghthy and tiresome process, especially if you haven't all the fancy lighting and lenses that the tutorials speak of. I like your interpretation.

LOVED the reply to Margo who, bless her heart, saw what I thought I saw also! A+ for creatively putting your own spin on it!

On the the next challenge!
