I had fasting labs in Portland so I thought after I would go shoot some ducks over in Deering Oaks Par. But I went to Eastern Prom and East End Beach area first. Saw these Common Eiders in water so wanted to add them to my project. Especially since there were no ducks in the park as the dark pond is still drained and I didn't see any in the park in other areas.
The Common Eider is the largest Maine duck.
