I have added the the papers, the elements, drop shadows, picture(s). overlays, masks, applied blending modes, tried some puzzle blending, the date, and added an artstroke. Now they need a title. I am leaning towards Bug Light. But will listen to your suggestions.
Joan, have just caught up with all the work you're doing for this GP. You are a hero...and heroine! Certainly looks as if you're enjoying it...and impressing us all as the journey progresses. This is absolutely fascinating and now understand how you can lose yourself in this and arrive with something you didn't even realise you were going to create.
Catching up due to a non stop week of preparing for Paimpont's Abbey Exhibitions which opened yesterday. R is absolutely exhausted. Not yet done anything for my GP. Will likely be tomorrow.
patience is required as well as knowledge skill and the program. I'm sticking to cropping and spot deleting for the next few years! Youre very clever and creative and amazingly clever.
What an artist you are - these are, imho, very good.. they are both delightful and i am loathe to put one above the other as each has it's own particular merits..
you will not catch me trying this - i'll stick to my infrared for my 'arty' shots.. :-)
Bug Light sounds a good name.
Out of the two images, I prefer the one on the left with all the extra, but I also like the clip and extra boat from the image on the right.

Awesome work.
