The one prayer that really grabs me is the Serenity Prayer-trying not to change the things I cannot change was a hard lesson to learn. It is easier to find serenity in the peace of an early morning photo ride. But that I am not trying to change. If you are having trouble finding serenity try remembering the serenity prayer but also take a walk or a ride in the early morning when most on the rest of humanity is sleeping. Then you are not trying to change anyone and can find serenity for a little while. They wake up and start to clog the roads - time to go home and play with the pictures.
This picture of my mills which I passed on my way to the coffee shop before I headed into the country. The sun peaking through the window in the mill that has the windows missing since the fire and then the windows in the other mill lighting up with the sun was just too much to pass by.
This is a fascinating shot, Joan. Love the reflections, particularly the buildings - caught the light so nicely. Good thoughts on the Serenity Prayer, too.
Really lovely morning shot with the bare trees, reflections, light and that interesting building. I agree with you, Joan. Mornings before the rest of the world awakens is the very best time!
As your partner I have been trying to think up a challenge for you all day ! I wonder what you’ll think of this idea? I took a photo in our local coffee shop recently featuring lots of yummy cakes. My challenge for you is CAKES! ( it goes nicely with your coffee challenge)!
Let me know when you’re ready to start making travel plans!
