I had the camera club out shooting Thursday. One of the ladies lives near Estes Lake where we started but had never been down one of the road I took after. They were delighted with this farm. I remember my sister loved it too. They were so busy shooting the things in the yard that they didn't notice the live horses in the coral. I often find when I am out with others I spot more things then they do. Comes from looking for the photo to shoot I think. Are you good at seeing things? Only wish I hadn't forgotten my camera I only had my tablet. See things yes - remember things no.
Time to resort to the sticky note check list in the car. This does look like a really great place to photograph. Yes, I tend to see things other people do not see- but each person had their own unique way of looking at things and I don't often see what they see. Good shot!
I agree about increased observation since being here. However the greatest 'gift' I’ve had for observation has arrived from significant hearing loss. I can and do detach myself when I can't follow a conversation etc...yet I see a lot more and have learned to 'read' body language more accurately. Fascinating...especially in waiting rooms etc. Boredom is probably my rarest visitor!
