I am sure this was mild compared to what probably came later. This was only 1/2 way through the rising tide. Ordinarily, it doesn't get this high until high tide. Could be some more very high tides this weekend. I had a great day yesterday - my electronic junk drawer is organized. So camera drawer and junk drawer done.

@danette We had one last year but haven't heard them mentioned this year so far. This was just an average high tide period. Stay safe. My sister lives in Hollywood, so I am paying attention to the storm. She has survived a few hurricanes, including Andrew, but as she gets older, it gets harder, I am sure.
