They are closing the beaches so this may be the last photo (new that is) for a while - taken last week. I can't believe how much I spent on groceries today after yesterday. But I could stay in place for a month. Hope to walk on No1 pond today.
I think they are going overboard just a bit. Beaches would be a perfect place to walk and keep social distancing in place.
People need to get some fresh air and sunshine for their mental health. And, a smile and a friendly 'hello' from another person walking the beach is good for the soul.

I am so sorry about that, Joan. It is just so frustrating that a few would ruin it for the rest of you. Social distancing is not a difficult concept to understand ... and then everyone can weather this storm a bit easier!
This is a lovely beach, so sad that places like this have to close. You can understand people waking up & thinking we will have a walk somewhere quiet & in the fresh air & all & sundry having the same idea. I read somewhere that Snowdon in Wales was the busiest last weekend that it’s been for years!
So far it appears our trails and parks are staying open. I hope to get out on one on Saturday- maybe tomorrow. People seem to be trying their best around here so I'm glad for that. Nice shot.
This is such a classic feel. Lovely post. Hoping you get to go back to the beach soon. All Chicago beaches, beach walk, bike trails were closed as of today as too many people were crowding them and not observing social distance. Sad...we need the outdoors.
Gosh, they haven't said anything about closing the beaches around here yet..... If they do I have plenty here to keep me busy and still be able to get outside and garden etc. Stay well. Lovely shot.
