I was out taking pictures and I use using my 70-300 lens. I love this lens but get frustrated too because I have trouble getting some pictures because this lens moves in to close. Thinking of buying one like the one I use on my D90. 18-108mm My friend in the camera club is using the D90 to see if she might like a digital. If I go out with one lens on my camera I am always wishing I had another.
@ludwigsdiana I have four lenses but when I go for a ride I only take the one on my camera. I guess I am too lazy to swap lenses. Plus I am usually pulled over to the side of the road and don't want to stay long. These places are close to me home and next time I will take a different lens.
Very pretty- one of my friends at camera club ended up buying a bridge camera for that very reason. He was tired of always wishing he'd brought the other lens. With the bridge camera the fixed lens has the range of both of them so he's never without one or the other.
@olivetreeann If I get a descent tax refun this year I am back to looking for a second lighter camera. I will keep a bridge camera in mind. Meanwhile embarassingly I got confused on what lens I did have. A little overwhelmed with work and obligations.
