The Stone Cutter

This statue is in Stonington which was noted for its stonework. Now it's a tourist area as there isn't a lot of stone left.

Nice shot- it reminds me of a statue I found in Barre Vt. He was a stone cutter of a different kind- carving big blocks of granite out of the ground in Barre. But unlike this fellow who's out of a job, the stone cutting in Barre still goes on.
