Walking off the turkey and mince pies….. we met a man and his dog fishing (well the dog wasn't fishing).
This is the first photo I'm posting taken with my new 'pocket' camera. Sony A7 with a 35mm lens - Santa was very kind to me this year! Plan to always have it with me - love my DSLR but it is a tad huge for a pocket.
@seanoneill I've been looking at the fuji too, got some great reviews, look forward to seeing how you get on with it. I imagine it will be particularly good for b and a.
Fantastic tones and composition, love the processing and very jealous of your new toy, would love one to carry around as would be much lighter than the 5D!!
@cazla yes, that's what swung me, and Park Cameras have an incredible deal on. The body only is normally £1300-£1400 and they are doing body, lens and a voucher for a macro lens for £899!! That's saving about £1000!!!

What a beauty!! And thanks as you've given me an idea for year 2 re carrying the pocket camera rather than always having my DSLR (which I admit does get a bit old sometimes). I have a decent one I rarely use and need to get to learn it!

I was to London once for ten days. Loved every minute of it. Although I am an avowed country girl, if I had to live in a city, I would choose London.
Your challenge is to photograph something quintessentially British - something that absolutely screams England and leaves no doubt of its location or nationality.
Not necessarily an object - but maybe a tradition or culture such as a pub.
