I agree that professional framing is much too expensive. PS-they aren't cra$.

There is always IKEA? :)

I know, I know: orchids are expensive (so framing them is also costly and almost not possible) ;-)

@vera365 I love ikea or target stores but very far to drive:)!

love the sofa!

Looking at the black door frame, it's easy to see that these two pieces of art would look cool framed with a matte black frame. Did you check on-line? I like the color of your sofa too :).

Love your sofa! Seriously, check out Michaels or TJMaxx - you can get a decent frame with mat at a good price.

Crazy how much framing is these days...there are less expensive options! I like your composition in this setup.

Love the two views here! Also the tag: drooling!

My husband has a framing and printing business, shame we don't live closer, he could have done it for you at mates rates.

Know what you mean about the cost - scary! Hope you can solve the problem - they should definitely have frames!

Love your composition.............Micheals is a great store for affordable frames!
July 15th, 2017
Great composition, here. If you lived here I would offer making you the two frames for no charge.

tape adds a certain elegance Joey :)

I think you should look elsewhere. They would look nice with your red couch!
July 17th, 2017
these would look awesome framed, but yes. to have it professionally done is crazy expensive. Might be a new skill worth learning

Why not invest in a matt cutter and do it yourself with mounting board. We have to present all our competition photos at club like that. Initial cost is high but the on-going cost is not too bad at all. See: http://amzn.to/2uuBf5R Scroll down the page. There are all sorts of models to suit all budgets.

Great image by the way!

I love the artwork. Hopefully you can find a better place to do the framing. I think my husband mentioned that Hobby Lobby does framing.

I watch for the over 50% off sales at Michaels or A. C. Moore and then buy one or two frames if I need them. Sometimes I even get more off when I've received one of their on-line coupons and they have a good sale. So that might be an option. Another one that some of our camera club members do is to stop at every yard sale and see what pictures are for sale. One gal got an amazing frame by purchasing the picture for two dollars!

As for the shot- I really like how the whole room is the composition- door frame and all. And your art work has an airy feeling to it that fits really nicely with your décor.
