I haven’t done this for over 60 years. But you hang on to the chain for dear life and let the incoming tide and waves wash everyone else off.
I couldn’t see what was happening in the original photo so I replaced the photo with a not so good one with an insert.
And an added bonus is last week’s waxing gibbous moon!! (Can you find it?)
