I prefer this one as well John. I love the look of concentration on his face and the focus is sharp. The other one is ever so slightly soft but I can see why your grandson likes it. When I used to photograph my son wakeboarding he always liked the shots where I got him grabbing the board, even if they were technically inferior. Btw, I live in BC and have skied here many times. Your grandson will have a blast, and he won’t be very cold. You can actually get quite hot when skiing. My skiing days are done now so I’m jealous.
