An interesting candid shot. I like the way many towns and cities seem to be installing water features. They are something of a magnet for children!

I was drawn to the boy and wondered how much of a hold the man had on him to keep the boy from running into the water. I like this.

It looked liked his dad. The answer is not much of a hold! The little boy escaped a few seconds later and made it to the water.

Very nice shot and composition. The fountains are fine to prevent walkers from playing with their mobiles while om their walks.

This fountain is in a very long pedestrian mall at Manly Beach, the second most known beach in Sydney.
Australians have been coming here for holidays for 150 years. The fountain has only been here for a few years.
Someone asked “why”. I don’t know why we have fountains. But this one attracts a lot of people and gives a lot of children a lot of fun during the warmer months!
