I was going to ask if it was a ferry until I saw your answer to this question. It is a wide boat for this part of the channel.

I should have given a better description. It’s the rivercat ferry from Sydney to Parramatta. The river finishes at a weir about 300-400 metres to the left of where I’m standing. Next time I’ll photograph the ferry coming towards me!!
