Today is the last day of Joust Week and as it is a Sunday, it is always very busy. Before the day starts, the re-enactors assemble before the castle gates to drum up some extra business.

He was also standing next to the medieval musicians and they were quite loud. And it was the last day of the joust. May be he'll cheer up in time for next year!
@joev We have the full thing - horses, knights in armour, the occasional damsel in distress. Most years someone has to go to hospital with a broken bone or two because they take it so seriously. There's probably a video of it on the Arundel Castle website, if you're interested.
