New Year's Day

After a wet morning, the weather finally cleared, so we went for a walk along Worthing Pier. This is part of the pavilion at the far end of the pier.

Lovely looking building. My Mum lived at Worthing for a while when she was young. She loved it. She hoped to go back there one day to live, but unfortunately, never got the opportunity.

@onewing The pier is really attractive, especially on a nice day and some of the other parts of the town are interesting. It has changed an awful lot since I was a child though.

Great composition and the three people at the end really help to bring all those lovely elements together. A lovely shot that fits the day perfectly - after all we are gazing out and know not what will come ...
