Hill House by josiegilbert

Hill House

Hill House is in Helensburgh in Scotland. It was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and was cladded in concrete as part of the design. Unfortunately this has cracked, allowing damp penetration, so the whole building has been encased in scaffolding and wire mesh to protect it. Visitors are able to use the walkways built into the scaffolding to climb around and then over the building, giving a unique view.
