@nydelignorsk Thanks, we splurge on pizza every so often but the artwork was done by the owner's daughter. I loved the way that it was a spontaneous creation. Thank you a great deal for the fav too.
@stefneyhart Thank you ever so much for the fav. I shot this on my cell since I only really went to pick up our pizza. I did some editing but thought it needed it.
@ceilidh Thank you so very much for the fav. I'm so glad that my pizza wasn't ready so I could step back outside the shop and take the picture. I love the innocence of these drawings.
@octogenarian Thank you a great deal for the fav. I miss seeing chalk art on the sidewalks - It was a true gift to see this and smile. @chard Thank you, I'm honored. The owner whose daughter drew this seemed embarrassed but I told him that I would like to post it he smiled. @kategoring Thank you, I tried a straight on shot but I then choose to squat down and get the walkway too- wasn't sure if the edits were too much. @mrsc19 Thank you, truly appreciate the fav and the following. I didn't see the contrast until the edits-
@rieva Thank you, the original color was only so so. needed a shot of B&W. @jeffinvt Thank you. I am amazed that this worked so well. @northy Some times I get lucky today was one time things just worked- good pizza too
I voted for your other shot in the challenge but I like this one too. It's sort of a reminder that hard cityscapes are also home to fragile human spirits.
Cute find! Just wanted you to know that I haven't intentionally skipped out on your challenge to me this week! I'm having external hard drive issues that have prevented me from importing and subsequently clearing my cards, so I can't really take any new photos just yet! Grrrr! I will keep your challenge in mind tho once I get the drive issues resolved!
@shesnapped So sorry that you are having computer issues. I have a love/hate relationship with mine as well. Usually its a draw but sometimes I win. Stay happy and keep shooting, I look forward to seeing more of your work.
@stephanies@sketch2 The drawing of an 8 year old - so lucky to have looked down but then I'm a real klutz and do try to remember to do so before I trip and fall.
@gerry13 Thank you, the girl who actually did the drawing used colored chalk but it really didn't snap or stand out like I felt it should so, I changed it to B&W.
