Slide Rock Park in Oak Creek Canyon. This place in the summer is a ZOO. I've never stopped due to the crowds but now that I have, I will make the most of the time before the crowds return next year. It was an apple orchard and packing operation but now a state park.
Crowds are the main reason we holiday off-season. Looks like a beautiful place for a nice long walk, I can see why it would get so busy. Nice capture and editing, esp the sun burst.
@domenicododaro Thank you, the park is just off the road and a mecca in the summer- I will explore it through the winter as long as there is no ice around. @graemestevens Thank you very much, truly appreciate the fav. @megpicatilly Thank you a great deal for the fav. I will make the most of the lack of people as long as I can. @stephanies There are so many hikes in Oak Creek and Sedona. Off season is becoming a shorter and shorter time these days. @overalvandaan Thank you so very much for the fav. If you get a chance to visit Arizona do it in the fall - the heat in Sedona isn't bad (80-95 Fahrenheit usually) It's Phoenix that does the triple digits on a regular basis. @miata2u I am very grateful for the fav. I was switching between b&w and color but also tried some infra red since there were so few people. Going back soon.
@jerome Thank you, am very grateful for the fav. The canyon and creek are so amazing. @vignouse Thank you, I am making myself go back to my roots -B&W. I will be trying to brush up on my film skills as well.
