Broken

An attempt for the current artist challenge ( http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/28982/artist-challenge-gerhard-richter). An old one combined with another oldie to make a new one.
The overlay of glass (?) looks like side swiping hurricane borne rain. Amazing shot!

@s4sayer Thank you very much, I am still baffled by photoshop but am not and will not stop trying. Creating textures from my work is a new level that I am working on.

Good work using PS to create this. It makes for an intriguing image.

@taffy Thanks but I am still working on 'getting it' with shop. The making of textures out of my own work does sound like a path though.

Love this effect. Are you playing with the blending modes of the layers?

@lizhammond Thanks, I am trying to figure out how to do textures in PS but there so many different ways. I just will keep trying.

@jo38 Thank you, the glass is from a window and the bench is from a ghost town outside of Flag. I am needing much more work on this technique.

Love it. Very cool. I am overwhelmed by Photoshop. I use it to remove dust from my images is all, a clone stamper. Seems like a waste, all that power and me so feeble with it.

@pickerandagrinner I too feel like I will never 'get it' with photoshop but I am so stubborn and there is always youtube. I just gotta have more patience with me. Thank you so very much for the fav.

@maskerade Thank you so much. The basics of photo shop give me fits on a regular basis but I will not give up, easily.

@blueberry1222 Thank you, I am learning more about creating textures but getting them to mix properly is a bear.

@stephanies Thank you very kindly for the fav. A shot of broken glass and a ghost town, they seemed to go together.
