Reflections of Warmth by joysabin

Reflections of Warmth

Taken in March but since then we have had 12.1 inches of snow. Flagstaffians and students at Northern Arizona University celebrate warmth when we get it. Today's forecast is good, 65F (18.3C) so I am sure there will be shirtless and shorts around town.

Thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday's post- I am humbled that it made the TP and PP.
Wednesday, it was 29C (84.2F). Today, it is 20C (68F). Tourists AND locals can't figure out what to put on in the morning. :) Thankfully we don't have to worry about snow! I think this image is very creative; well done!

We're having some balmy Spring weather...the down side is that we've had a dry Winter and since this week we are officially in drought. No car washing except at car wash, no pressure hoses on terraces, balconies etc. Needless to say, I haven't done ours. O me miserum/ Woe is me!

@evalieutionspics Thank you. Crazy weather is going to be the new normal, I think. The kids on campus will shorts in snow, I am just not that crazy or is it brave?

@s4sayer Drought, oh my, not good. Hope you get a wet Spring- doesn't sound nice to say that but, it's needed. I just live with dirty cars, most of the time. Arizona seems to be okay for now but they keep building and building so who knows?

omg...shirtless at 65F! A Phoenician would be in pants and a jacket!

@blueberry1222 We had a Phoenician come visit Riordan Mansion (I volunteer there) last week when it was snowing, wearing shorts and flip flops and they chose not to do the outside walking tour.:):) The buildings on campus are a cool mix of modern and old stone so there are some interesting angles to work with.

Such a difference in temperature! I seem to be going from heating to air conditioning on a daily basis in the car! I really like this photo - very imaginative and there is a real sense of movement.

@megpicatilly You are so very kind. I apologize for my not responding until now. It has been a very strange year, weather wise. Our March was one of the warmest we've had. The kids on campus look for any excuse to celebrate sun and warmer temps.

@ziggy77 Thank you very much. I am sorry that I haven't responded until now, appreciate your patience. The reflections were a way to grab the shot without getting caught.

@la_photographic Thank you a great deal. I feel bad that I've not responded until now. So glad that you like it.
