@dorsethelen Thank you, I braved the cold this morning (about 35F) to make use of the sun. The lensbaby is still a challenge, manual focus and all.
@pdulis You are very kind, I truly appreciate the fav. The softness of the lensbaby seems to work well with flowers.
@domenicododaro Thank you a great deal, the brave part was going outside in 35F to take the shot.
@taffy Thank you very much, I like the lensbaby blur, when I get it right.
@octogenarian Thank you very much, I am grateful for the fav. These flowers are one of my favorites. I wish I could grow them but the climate is too harsh around here.
Fun creation. I have such a hard time with Lensbaby! Love the effect others get, but somehow I can't hold onto the "sweet spot" when I get it in focus, AND press the shutter while not moving my fingers. Need a bigger hand, I guess,
@joysabin -- I rely so much on auto-focus because I also have bad eyesight (blind in one eye! and old eye in the other) With lens baby it's manual focus PLUS squeezing it without moving . . . so perhaps the blur IS the intended effect!
@jyokota They do rule! I gotta practice, practice and then more practice.
@miata2u Thank you so much, I love mine. I bought mine when it was on sale. Try the site- KEH.com they sell used equipment and have decent prices and very good customer service. Mine is a manual focus so I had to 'tell' my camera that it wasn't auto. I think that it was called disable lens or something like that. I did go to youtube and googled my brand of camera and lens baby. You can handle it! If you find a good priced one, give it a try, Think about renting one, maybe.
@deborah63 Thank you so very much, this is a fun lens to have or at least play with.
@davidrobinson Thank you kindly, the lensbaby is a fun but also frustrating lens. I admit that auto focus has made me lazy. That is changing now that I am getting back into film.
