@graemestevens You are very kind, truly appreciate the fav. The weather in my favorite spot was bitter cold and we even had snow and sleet last night. At least the clouds were behaving themselves.
You really capture the feeling of the cold and bleak. Congrats on your 365... it appears that we may have started around the same time. I missed some though. Agree about the learning curve... and in such a fun way.
@s4sayer Thank you so much for the fav, This is a wide open meadow and there aren't many wind blocks. I am just getting fussy in my old age. I think I will add heated hunting socks to my camera kit. :)
@domenicododaro Thank you a great deal for the fav. This started out as infrared but morphed into and was saved by Photoshop. The sun wasn't all that prominent and is really helpful with IR.
@yrhenwr You are very kind, I am very appreciative of the fav. This road leads to a old abandoned house. This started out as an infrared and the house is much more visible but the rest of the image wasn't cooperating and I fell into NIK-land in Photoshop. I should have known because the sun (a rather crucial part of IR) was playing hide and seek with the clouds but live, shoot and learn.
@stefneyhart Thank you, this meadow (Kendrick Peak Park) is very large and open so the wind can be a real problem. It is one of my favorite photo haunts in this area. Some days learning curves are okay and some not so much.
@brett101 I thank you so very much for the fav. After the battle that I fought with this one, it started out as an IR but was being a real pill about processing so I went B&W and then into NIK-land for help.
@joysabin
Joking apart...if you can find some, invest in a pair of socks made from goat hair and spun with wool. I bought 2 pairs aeons ago: for cold weather they are my go to socks. Your feet will be toasty;-)
