The Dogwood Challenge was "put your camera on a tripod at night, open the shutter for 30 seconds, and paint your subject with light." This is 38 seconds (done without any technical assistance - so oops for a bit long) taken at 8:45pm, about an hour after sunset which still was "golden hour". I had forgotten to shoot raw as my silly camera will not allow zoom in raw mode to check for focus.
The wine is a fairy decent Cab for under $20. I didn't drink while shooting so that is why the glass is empty. If I did have a designated driver with me if would have been a very different shot-me on the ground with the bottle looking at the stars-:):)
Also, a slight tweek in Photoshop's NIK collection-I could find nothing in the rules against it.
Well done - I love the light on the wine glass stem. Looking forward to seeing Part II when designated driver is present and you are on the ground watching the stars!!
@joemuli Here here! Drinking in the moonlight, there's song in that????
@stephanies The battery pac movement is a very cool concept. My light source was a flashlight or torch that I had my hand over so only part of the light came through. I tried without my hand and the bottle was washed out with too much light so I opted for partial light. The tweek in photoshop was black gold under color efex option.
@megpicatilly Thank you very much. I will try your challenge soon, or maybe on the next bottle which could be soon since I liked the wine and it is fairly warm at night.
@deborah63 Thank you a great deal, the bottle is now finished since I liked it and one must drink a wine that one enjoys, ne c'est pas?

@vignouse Thank you, I almost think that its too nice to drink from.
@s4sayer Thank you very much. I fell in love with it the moment that I saw it.
@lizhammond Thank you, I really wanted to get some stars in the shot, but I left my wide angle at home, oops.
