Learning to use an additional light since I am not post-processing this month. I used my small LED flashlight (torch) to bring out the top a bit.
Found a couple of Pasture Mushrooms on my walk. To begin with, mushrooms in this dry environment just confuses me. We haven't had rain for about a week. They were very bedraggled and oozed some nasty looking black liquid but stayed mostly together while I 'posed' them. I am also not sure if they are poisonous so into the bin they went after the shoot.
Well that is the coolest thing I have seen - I have used a small flash light but hard to hold a pin lite flashlight and remote shutter-gives a nice look -guess I am placing yet another amazon order lol-my husband thanks you
Interesting shot. Re mushrooms edible or not, there is a permanent facilty/service offered by pharmacies in France, whereby one can take said mushrooms etc. for identification and more to the point...whether they are edible or not.
@vignouse Very much appreciated, thank you kindly for the fav. @yrhenwr Grateful, thank you. @30pics4jackiesdiamond The black stuff that the mushroom was dripping was icky but thank goodness for paper towels. @henrir Thank you so much, the pros would probably laugh themselves silly but I don't have their budget. @s4sayer Thank you, I never thought that I might take these to the county extension agent for ID. Thank you so much for the info. @taffy Thank you so much. @overalvandaan I almost didn't pick them up but glad that I did. They were on their last legs too. I did learn what a Lobster Mushroom looks like but not sure I have the courage to try it. These were Prairie Mushrooms, I think but when I see them again, I will take one in for identification.
