Hidden Landscapes by joysabin

Hidden Landscapes

This is a solarization of a current art exhibit at the Coconino Center for the Arts. ( https://flagartscouncil.org/2018/02/hidden-landscapes/). I had gone to the center to learn about the current ballot measures which will be voted on in a few weeks. I was enthralled by this simple but ever so magical work.

Better on black
Interesting. Does exhibit actually move?

@henrir yes, there is a fan which is intermittently on and off behind the plastic wave.

@golftragic I love finding these strange things. I admit to a falling into the edit trap with this. It was fun to see what I could do with this. Thank goodness for cell phones, I wasn't really sure if I was supposed to be taking pictures.

@joysabin Probably not, but good on you. I've found you can get away with all sorts of things with a phone that wouldn't be possible if you had a camera. I guess no-one really knows if you're 'on the phone', checking social media or email or ………

@fbailey Try tapping on the image, it worked for me. I didn't get what it was all about until the fan kicked on and it was like giant plastic wave.
@casablanca Edits can be fun. I sometimes get carried away.

@fjanos You are so kind, thank you a great deal for the fav.
@haskar Who would have thought that a huge sheet of plastic could be so entertaining?
@overalvandaan Thank you, I worried about changing the color of the work but the original is white on white.
@eudora Thank you, the work is very subtle, I hope I did it justice with my edit.
