Layers of learning

Crescent Moon Ranch - Sedona Arizona. Infrared exposure with standard Photoshop channel mix and auto color, then a layer with adjustments to bring out the shadows and finally layered together.

My learning curve with Infrared continues.....
Fascinating. It looks like you are learning a lot. I wouldn't have a clue how to appropriately manipulate the photoshop channels for infrared exposure and adjust to bring out shadows. (Though I might like to "mess around" and see what happens). Bravo!

Those shadows are so important in this shot. I'm finding that it takes a lot of practice and patience to visualise in infra red.

Very different and interesting. I particularly like it on black which really shows off the lighting.

@mcsiegle Thank you so much. Playing around and going to" The University of You Tube" has helped a great deal.
@fjanos Truly appreciate the fav, thank you so kindly. Some times the edits come easier than others.
@yrhenwr I've heard that frustration builds character, meh! I started to take screen shots of the various edits so that my feeble brain has a fall back position. Digital IR is much more forgiving than film.
@henrir Thank you so very much.
@haskar Grateful, thank you kindly.
@jernst1779 Thank you so much. The false color of infrared can be an acquired taste. I like the challenge of trying to get it.
@fbailey I think I get it and then I attempt to repeat and nope, doesn't work. Some days I think that I'm jinxed but, other days, it works. So IR is fickle but, worth the frustration. I am very thankful for the fav.
@ziggy77 Thank you so very much for the fav. I was very happy with the color of the water, this time.
