I like this a lot, very clever. I'm very wary of taking photos in airports nowadays. So much suspicion of terrorists etc and so many CCTV cameras. Australia's Border Force are not a cuddly lot.
@golftragic I agree, Airport security can be a real adventure it self. I almost always get 'chosen' for a pat down, leave my sunglasses on or a hair clip in, such fun...
@haskar Thank you so very kindly for the fav. I mostly had the area to myself.
@henrir Thank you. I must admit to just snapping with my iPhone that had the lensbaby lens attached and hoping for something. Got lucky
@ingajohansson When I landed and saw them, I was intrigued. They are a display for the Cincinnati Museum. I did get lucky and left out of the same area. I had 3 hours to wait for my flight so what does a photographer do, snap away...
@samae This is one of my favorite lensbabys - I'm sure that there is a full size version but the phone one is perfect for me.
@jernst1779 Thank you so much, try the iPhone mobile kit if you have an iPhone- about $100 for 3 different lens.
@fbailey Yes, the lens had a great built in blur- very cool. The Cincinnati museum had a few exhibits around the airport.
@domenicododaro Thank you so very kindly for the fav. I love this little phone lens, it is just silly at times.
Oh for the old days when you just walked straight through to the gate-lounge for your flight. My worst experience has been in Dubai a couple of years back. I have three metal joints and always ring the bells so I go through full-body scanners if possible to save hassles. No such thing at Dubai, ring bells, get ordered over to a woman (?) in a black thingo who orders me into a small room where she gives me a serious groping rather than a pat-down!! I was furious and felt like giving her a smack in the chops, but didn't fancy a spell in a Dubai jail so gritted my teeth and put up with it. We will not be going through Dubai airport again, nor on Emirates which always goes via there.
