Continuing with the train theme in Clarkdale, Arizona. I spied a couple of abandoned rail cars which near the train station. I just had to walk over and investigate. The Verde Canyon Railroad is now a tourist adventure.

Thank you so much for the fav. @fbailey Thank you a great deal for the fav. These cars seemed unloved at the back of the area. I just had to walk over and say hello. @s4sayer Thank you so much, appreciate the fav. I wish I knew more about rail cars, I;m sure that they served well, maybe again, someday. @jernst1779 It was a shame to see the tagging on these beauties. I hope that they get shown some love. Very appreciative of the fav, thank you. @graemestevens There are many specters in this area, Near by Jerome Arizona is known to have several. the town was once the known as the wildest place in the state. I admit to not climbing aboard to meet any. Truly appreciate the fav. @samae Thank you so very kindly for the fav. @golftragic Thank you a great deal, especially for the fav. The rain clouds were a big help too. @kiwinanna Thank you most kindly for the fav. I just hope that I didn't 'bother' the inhabitants too much. @mcsiegle Most grateful, the old rail cars cooperated very nicely too. @ukandie1 Thank you so very much, appreciate the fav.
Last time I wandered onto some rail lines the train began to move toward me as I was taking a shot! I then got threatened with a £1000 fine by the transport police. My wife pointed out to them that I'm an old man who doesn't always know what he's doing! So I didn't die or get punished! Love this shot, of course! Fav
@lostphojo Gppd cover, need to take along my advocate or play the tourist angle. Some government agencies have no sense of humor. Anyway, daylight vandals, really? I wouldn't have been able to climb aboard, my hips don't work as well as they used too.
