Trying to come to grips with our spring snow. It won't be measured in inches but in the emotional. My roses will survive and I will grab my box of sweaters out of the attic again.
@tstb13 Funny you should mention that, I did get this idea from a drawing of a rose that I saw on an allergy advertisement. Inspiration comes in some strange places, doesn't it.

@ziggy77 Truly thankful for the fav.
@jernst1779 Truly appreciate the fav. The high ISO was fun to work with.
@s4sayer Thank you so very much for the fav. My roses are quite budding yet but, the leaves and stalks look happy. I have hope.
@samae Thank you, its not unheard of to have snow in May but the cold temps all day are what has the town grumbling.
@ingajohansson Thank you, the high elevation here still gives my gardening skills all sorts of issues but I persist.
@robz Thank you, I had seen a pencil drawing of a rose and then thought maybe, I could try with soft color.
@golftragic It sure is. I know that I shouldn't complain but I do. This past weekend was that closing of the skiing for the year- a fairly late date.
@shannejw Thank you so very much.
