Rain, sweet rain. There is a wild fire just north of the city - about 1900 acres and 10% contained as of last night's update, The rain has aided the fire fight tremendously. There is a slight aroma of smoke in the air this morning but the rain is gift to so many here.
We shouldn't be told to evacuate but we have our 'go' bags ready just in case. Riley is still working on which toys and treats to stash in hers.
@octogenarian As much as she hates thunder (she just shakes like a leaf) we need our rain and if thunder is a part, I will just comfort her as best I can. So very grateful for the fav, the drops on my few flowers were so wonderful to see.
