NF SOOC No 28

One last Dog for the week. The challenge gave us 5 elements to work with. The wind was 'present' today, about 15 mph. Riley and I choose to walk around our favorite lake in the opposite direction. We found lots of wet spots, no lizards, much to her displeasure, and blowing tall grass.
beautiful shot

Had to laugh- if I was with you, I would have been very happy she did not find any lizards! But the grasses were definitely a lovely find!

There's a nice sense of motion and lovely use of blur.

@olivetreeann She is a hunter without any doubts, I wonder if that comes from being on her own out on the Navajo Nation? I am not sure if we are supposed to 'explore' around the lake but no signs telling me not to and there weren't many birds to disturb this time of year.

@taffy Thank you, the wind was just strong enough so I could kneel down in the grass and play with focus.

@s4sayer I mostly appreciate the wind, it can be so wonderful to watch the clouds as they are tossed about or float by.

@megpicatilly Thank you so kindly, truly grateful for the fav.

@samae Thank you so very much for the fav.

@overalvandaan The wind was pushing the grass around a great deal but, the lensbaby also was a big help.

@sdutoit Thank you so very much.

@jernst1779 Thank you so much for the fav. I was trying not to fall over as I took this, the ground was mushy in spots.
