Dog 50 by joysabin

Dog 50

It hit me that this year is almost over. I know that Christmas is just next door but week 50. For the Dogwood challenge, week 50 we were asked to look at patterns in micro. I attached a 20x magnifying lens to my phone and looked at my Christmas cactus blooms.
Very cool micro image! Love all the curves

@mzzhope Thank you a great deal. This cactus is a very happy plant, has about 50 blooms in various stages at present.

@sdutoit Thank you so much. I am so happy that this plant is happy, I have terrible luck with most house plants.

@pusspup Thank you a great deal.

@haskar Thank you most kindly for the fav. I am amazed how much fun little phone lenses can be.

@pdulis Truly very grateful for the fav. I am very lucky that this cactus really is a happy plant. I look forward to this time of year when it does bloom.

@s4sayer The shape of these blooms is unique, almost like a double flower. I feel so blessed that this plant and I are 'friends'. Living in the high desert, growing plants is not something that I've mastered at all.

@ziggy77 Thank you so much, very grateful.

@ninaganci @overalvandaan @jernst1779 Thank you so much. My framing was what happening when I straightened it so I left it as is.
