Crossing

Taken the last time I ventured downtown (just last Friday). Still amazed how many people are out and about but most did have a mask on-myself most definitely included.
Like the solarisation and the lines. Masks are becoming mandatory in the UK this Friday. Why they didn't make it so much earlier I don't know, perhaps to enable people to stock up on them. Not many people seem to be wearing them at the moment but that will have to change v soon!

Well that's interesting processing...reading Felicity's comment I've learned that it's "solarization" - which I've never heard of!

@fbailey Thank you so kindly for the fav. Our mayor re-issued the mandatory mask wearing about two weeks ago. I have been wearing one since March. Arizona has been at the top of the new cases for some time, sad, very sad.

@amyk Thank you so much.

@tinley23 Most grateful, I am getting used to wearing my mask but doing the giving a wide berth as well.

@granagringa Got lost in Nik color efex today. Some days, strange wins out....:-)

@pdulis Thank you, started to play with luminar 4.

@bubblequeen Edits can lead me down a rabbit hole some times

Fascinating result of your editing. Do stay safe...AZ was a place we had thought about spending a few months over the winter. Pretty much ruled it out at this point. I saw on the news tonight a modeling program that with masks, about 40K people in the US could still lose their lives at this point, but without, it can rise to well over 200K.

@taffy Thank you, Flagstaff seems to be more vigilant with wearing of masks- our mayor has been pro-active as compared the other officials in this state. We are staying as safe as we can, masking and socially distancing all the time. It bothers me no end that this has become politicized. Virus' don't care who you are or how you vote. Thank you for letting me vent. I hope that you are also staying safe.

@joysabin We're fine on the island, but glad to be out of the city. We love the condo there, the view, the closeness to everything fun -- but none of that made a difference since March, so being on the island has given me freedom that I was really missing. I'm paranoid/terrified of contracting the virus so am being as careful as can be. With an aging population on the island, it seems that most of the residents (seasonal and most of the regular ones) are being careful. What we have to worry about are the weekly renters and day-trip folks. They obviously aren't self-quarantining and the beach was insanely packed on July 4th weekend.

Love your processing. It makes it feel more dramatic.

@jernst1779 Truly am grateful for the fav. Getting out in public is a dicey thing these days.

@haskar Thank you so very much.
