Something old is now new

For the Capture 52 weekly challenge - I fell off the wagon a great deal of last year so I wanted to get my act together. I have chosen to re-start my Tai Chi lessons which I feel qualifies for week 1 - a fresh start from almost unmentionable 2020.
may your determination carry you through!

Such a swirl of action - a very positive feel for the New Year. :)

Even before I read your explanation I thought this image had a kind of oriental feeling to it. Made me think of the drape of a kimono somehow.

Beautifully done! And I like the framing you chose for the image.

that's rather intriguing

I have been thinking of joining in our free class at the lake, they start early when I usually take Maisie for her walk, which has stopped me because it gets too hot for Maisie later in the mornings. I think it would help my neck pain. Good luck with your commitment

Thank you all so very kindly, I am very grateful for the positive comments and favs. I am really going to try and complete the tutorial. I took actual in person classes (when we could) for a while but lost interest. I am such a non-group person that doing it in my own house on my terms might just do the trick.

Awesome image. I took tai chi classes as well, but was not very good at it. What I loved was the warm-up exercises, which I do almost every day. It has helped my rheumatoid arthritis tremendously. I am going to look up a video.

@aikiuser @kvphoto @samae You are all so nice and I am very thankful for your kind comments. My sons think that this is so me, just not completely in step with things. I actually gave up on that idea years ago....

@nickspicsnz @pdulis Thank you so much, playing with longer shutter speeds is one of the things that I am going to explore more this coming year.
