Spotted on an early morning walk today. Life continues amaze me. These flowers used to dominate this area but then developers moved in and cut down all the flowers, or so they thought. We've had a great deal of rain recently, much appreciated for the most part.
Plants are often able to grow in unusual places. Just today I saw a flower growing out of the root base of a magnolia tree and another coming out of a brick sidewalk.
True. My parents have a garden full of flowers, and they (the flowers) also rebel and grow in weird places, like the cracks between a couple of steps or in the crack between the garden wall and the paved path, between the pebbles. Some flowers can be stubborn.
Thank you all so very much. I am very grateful for your kind patience with my ever so late response. I hope to use this flower's tenaciousness of spirit as a mantra, don't give up just keep stretching my perspective and possibilities.
