Today we are experiencing our first Oregon rain. It is so gentle, constant and just there. I wanted to take my girl, Riley for a walk out in it so as to gauge her reaction. When we lived in Arizona there was almost always thunder and lightening associated with rain and my poor Riley Pup was terrified and cowered under my desk or in my lap.
So far, she loves the wet. We had just returned home from our walk, gone through the wiping down process when she decided that she needed to go back out. We waited a bit then opened the back door and off she flew. Wet dogs.....
So you moved definitely to Oregon? I fear I missed so much information... My poor Ala hated the rain, when it was raining all she wanted to do was staying inside!
I’m glad that she is enjoying the wet weather now that it is thunder free. May make a bit more mess for you but dogs are supposed to get a bit messy, I think.
Thank you all so much for understanding my ever so slow response. Riley is loving the rain, we haven't been blessed with consistent grey days yet ans she goes just nuts when I get her leash out.
