Egglicious

Its egg Saturday. Mine was a baked egg cup with 2 backyard fresh eggs, Parmesan cheese, chanterelle and black trumpet mushrooms (also from the farmers market). We got 9 eggs this week and they were delicious. Having hens which give us fresh eggs is fun and yummy.

There is an automatic door which closed before they got inside of their coop but all is good though. We guess that the battery is beginning to fail so the mechanism is a bit wonky.

@joysabin Had to put a light on a timer so the the auto-door would open in the morning and close in the evening.

Did a beak check last night and came up 19 out of 20. Glad it wasn't raining when I did a yard check to see what the damage (if any) was done. Had a very wet chicken wanting back in the pen this morning
