PMAE No 40

Okay, let me start by saying that I learned several things with this challenge- The technical levitation week for the Dogwood 52 week challenge.
1. I've got a long long way to go to 'get' this
2. I need a much better model
3. This technique is etsooi without any doubt.
4. I will try again as I don't like to back down from any challenge.

I am really not all that happy with this but am running out of time.

I also will be falling behind on my comments (even further than now) as family is visiting for a bit.

Looks a tiny bit better on black- but not much.
I have absolutely no idea what etsooi is. But I think this photo is really cool. Don't know why you need another model, either. And I imagined that you are the type who likes a challenge. Keep going. My money is in you to succeed. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

You could work in a club doing a vanishing act.

@mbrutus Thank you so very kindy for the encouragement, as the Late GREAT Tom Petty said- "I won't back down"! I may fall on my rump now and then but give up, NEVER! Anyway, etsooi stands for 'edit the s$$t out of it'.

@domenicododaro I am what the British say - 'gobsmacked'. I am so very grateful for the fav. Since I edited this so much and so long, I lost any hope of liking it. I do however know that I will try this again, at least in some form or another.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you so very much. There are so many ways to do this in Photoshop and I've only just touched the surface on them.

@365projectorgjenfurj Maybe in a straightjacket? Is is fun to play around and I won't stop, Life is just too short to be serious all the time.

This is a fabulous image - if I knew just a tiny bit of how you did it I would be pleased! Fav

As someone who has no idea how you do this it is very impressive :)

@megpicatilly I am so very grateful for the fav, This is where I went for the info on how to. ( https://fstoppers.com/bts/secrets-best-levitation-shots-shared-8027). I did this over and over again and I think that I liked two shots enough to play in photoshop. So be patient.

@haskar You are so kind, thank you, I see all sorts of things that I might be better next time.

@deborah63 Thank you so very much for the fav. I had a different idea but it didn't work so I went back to youtube university for help.

@nickspicsnz This is fun but be patient. I did use this site for info - ( https://fstoppers.com/bts/secrets-best-levitation-shots-shared-8027).

I think you got an amazing shot for this challenge!! Well done to you. I wanted to do something like this but I am suffering with a bad dose of lazyitis/apathy at the moment. Seriously you did so well to get this, great job.

@stephanies I must remember to use " lazyitis/apathy" that is so perfect for some days-most days. I enjoy a good challenge but deadlines are a big force some days, I had family visiting so I had to get this done. I would have liked to spend more time and found someone else to pose, maybe next time?
