PMAE No. 293

Walking this morning in the construction/destruction zone, I saw this excavator doing its thing. I am experimenting with the slow shutter app on my iPhone. I have yet to master it- (as if I'd be that lucky) I took one shot then moved down slightly to capture some motion. I went into Photoshop for some tweeking.
Love this app when shooting people-who are (walking, running, biking,etc) with minimal background
-love the impressionistic effect of this image tho’ fav👍💕

This works rather well...

Perfect use of ICM to capture power and motion

@jaybutterfield I hadn't seen that before, thank you. The housing construction is maddening, trees and open space just being swallowed up.
@vignouse Thank you so very kindly for the fav. I am experimenting but having fun. Made the construction workers smile, crazy lady taking shots early in the morning.
@joemuli Very grateful for the fav. This app is fun. I have to play around with the shutter speed and my holding still. :):)

This is terrific, I'm very impressed. I tried the slow shutter app for a while, but couldn't seem to get it to work.

@gardenfolk Thank you so very much for the fav. The app is fun and I am still learning.
@eudora Thank you so much, this app does give most interesting textures.
@golftragic Thank you so much, don't give up. I find it somewhat frustrating too. I am learning that I need more movement in my subject and a steadier hand on my part.

Interesting result -- makes for an interesting surreal looking scene.

@joysabin I shall follow your exercise with interest.

@taffy Thank you a great deal. The app is fun. It also is surreal how much building is going on.
@golftragic Thanks, learning curve here I come....
@thistle You are so very kind, thank you for the fav. Trying to accept the destruction that comes with new houses.
@ingajohansson Thank you, trying to get a hold on how best to use this app. Sometimes oops-es work out okay.
@pistache Thank you so very much for the fav. I am thinking that the movement added to the grunge effect, not sure though.
@chikadnz Thank you so much.
@jernst1779 Thank you so very much for the fav. The app is fun and I recommend following @joemuli who does fabulous work with it. I am still on the low end of my learning curve.

@golftragic Gotta walk the walk to 'get it'.
@pickerandagrinner Thank you so much. I am amazed by the reaction to this, happy about it but, amazed.
June 26th, 2018
Yeah, you're right, but there's so many of these toys to play with. Choices, choices.
June 26th, 2018
Don't hold still, keep fidgeting!
June 26th, 2018
@pickerandagrinner Good advice.
