Tahoe Ducks

We spent the day in Lake Tahoe enjoying an exquisitely beautiful day kayaking and then lunch. These baby ducks were so gosh darn cute. Probably not well focused with my iphone but it was the best I could do in a kayak and not roll it.
How wonderful! Such a gorgeous scene, the ducks make it, to me!

How cute is this! A beautiful image and pleased you didn’t roll the kayak as I’ll bet the water was cold!

@louannwarren @Weezilou @dide @rickster549 @maggiemae @ludwigsdiana @gardenfolk @ellida Thank you all for your nice coments! Actually there was no snow Louise. I think it looks that way from my processing. It was in the 80's (Fahrenheit). The water is so pristine and clear you can see about 15 feet to the bottom. Maggie I do like the casinos but we stayed away from them for the day. The Mom duck had 2 babies riding on her back. I counted 12 ducklings! That's my story and I'm sticking to it. : )

I had an invitation to spend a week in Tahoe when I was in jr high school...a neighbor from Hawaii was vacationing there. I'll never forget the amazing clarity of the water! I learned to water ski... On a trek up to the top of Squaw Valley ski lift, I tumbled , get bunged up a bit, and have had a fear of hiking to heights ever since! It was a memorable summer!
