Knight's Ferry Covered Bridge

We don't have nearly as many covered bridges in California as back East. But I love to visit this one near my town.

@gardenfolk Hi CC this bridge in "Knights Ferry is in an unincorporated historic community in Stanislaus County. Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. It is about 40 miles east of Modesto on the Stanislaus River." Take the 120 Hwy east out of Oakdale like you're going to Sonora. It's about 20 minutes out of Oakdale. Look for the green Knight's Ferry sign and turn left.

This is a wonderful bridge and sooooo long. I posted one this week that is probably only 10 meters long. I love covered bridges and how good that a lot of them are still here.
