@Dawn Hi Dawn! I had to look this up. They are seeds from a Japanese Maple tree I believe. They are also called Samaras. I used to call them helicopters or whirlybirds. Other maple trees have similar seeds but they are not this color and the shape is different depending on the maple. Thank you for commenting!
What a gorgeous color! I thought you'd used your magic touch on them again, but I see I should have selected my Japanese Maple more carefully! I'd love to have a scattering of pink on the ground! Beautiful!
