March2016-31 After Storm Katie (1)

The day after posting I noticed that this is my 365th photo, taken after fifteen months though!
We went to the coast to start the Spring jobs on our boat. In the early hours of Monday there had been a surge of a metre and a half on the River Hamble. It had been the worst storm of the winter on the south coast. Luckily our tender had been suitably secured in the sailing club pound. We just had to hose the river mud out of it. Some moorings had been damaged on the river bed, but ours was OK. The owner of this motor boat had not been so lucky; it looks as if it had been struck by another vessel.
Oh dear! And now th3 water looks so calm - never wild and flooding!
