1000 mile walk Day 7
A fieldfare's first choice of foods would be rosehips and hawthorn berries. My first sighting of fieldfares this winter was in this scrubby hedgerow along the vineyard field towards the Abbotstone Road. The weather was very grey, but the yellow lichen brightens this up a bit. The birds were not for having their photo taken though.
